UPDATED on 26 July: Nancy just emailed me to let me know that her tote won a blue ribbon at the fair! Isn’t that great? Congratulations Nancy!
If you would like your photos featured on my ‘corkboard’ please email them to me with whatever you’d like to say about the project, and if you have a blog please include the link.
All this prettiness inspires me, I hope it does the same for you!

oooh I feel famous!
Great examples of work from your sew along.
Well done, ladies, they are gorgeous. Best wishes at the fair, Nancy!
Great work, Ladies! Thank you for sharing.
Have a super great sewing day.
YAY! My bag looks AWESOME on your corkboard.
Thanks!
Now on to find the time to get caught up. I really want to make the zipper pouch! Make-up roll- dunno- I don’t wear any. BUT I may be able to figure out something to do with it- pen holder maybe? Hmmmm…..
oh wow, they did a fabulous job on those.
I love your bright colored tote! It’s beautiful! Thanks for sharing with us…
Thanks so much for this amazing project! I started today with my almost 9 yr. old daughter. While ours is not as professional looking as the bags above, she is beyond proud of herself! This is a great project for her – lots of straight stitching! She can’t wait to start part 2 tomorrow morning, and is already carrying her unlined bag all around the house!
These are really cute! I may try making one.
Love the bags. I wish I was as talented.
Kelly, Can’t thank you ENOUGH for all the hard work on this recent set of tutorials. I am fully aware of all the TIME it took to make these projects, photo them in the numerous steps and then publish to the net. You amaze me! Anyone who has undertaken what you have, knowing full well that there is no promise of any monetary reward to come, is totally at the TOP in my book! Your instructions are so clear (and believe me when I tell you I’ve ready many, many BAD pattern writers in my day) that most any one who understands how to turn on a sewing machine and use a rotary cutter can attempt this project and have great success in making these accessories and tote. Several ladies from my quilt group followed along with you and have beautiful totes plus to show and share. I know it will be a long time before you do anything like this once again, but I look forward to anything that comes from you as you really kow how to tell the whole story! Thanks once again. Aw, this was a really nice post. In thought I would like to put in writing like this moreover – taking time and actual effort to make a very good article… however what can I say… I procrastinate alot and by no means appear to get one thing done.
