Regular Programming Will Resume Shortly…

in Life, etcetera

I started this blog to have a happy and creative place to share and connect with like-minded people. For this reason I choose not to go into my personal life or difficulties. So I won’t. I’ll just tell you about what’s happening with the sew along. I do plan to have the next tutorial up on Wednesday. I have had difficulties with the original design and have had to rework it. This is good news however, as the sunglasses case tutorial I’m posting tomorrow will be easier to make and a better design than if I had have just rushed and posted my original design last week. For those of you who have been patient, I thank you so very much for your understanding and kindness. I am feeling a little emotional right now, so I know better than to go on and on…it will only get me into trouble! So I will leave you now with a wonderful inspirational video to brighten your day, as well as mine.

See you Wednesday!

Sharing stuff can sometimes lessen the load but only if you want to I’m happy to listen. The delay has worked in my favour as I have’t made the make-up roll yet so I’d better get a move on. Life sometimes gets in the way for all of us.

Repeat after me: blog without obligation!!! Sew/quilt without obligation!!!
This is supposed to be fun, not a burden.
I think I speak for everyone when I say we love your blog and your tutorials, but we prefer to know that everything is OK with you.
Take care!

Daisy — just had to reply to your comment and say that I think I’m going to pin the words “Blog without obligation!!! Sew/quilt without obligation!!!” right on my computer! A great reminder that I know I can use myself. Kelly, I hope it helps you too and that things perk up for you.

I’m so sorry you’re having a rough time and I hope things get better for you. I look forward to the next part of the SAL, and I am sure it will be wonderful…and thank you for taking the time to make it better. But just always remember, your home and family and life come first and we will be here whenever ….and probably even if the rest of the SAL never got finished we would all survive! Here’s a big hug for you!

Hi Kelly- no worries on getting stuff up. Be sure that you’re taking care of you and your family- that’s the most important thing. Without you, there would be no bloggy goodness. The blog and sew along can wait. :) We’ll all be here when you’re ready. (hugs to ya, and yours)

No need to hurry – I’m still WAY behind!
But sad to hear that all is not so well in the real world. I’m with you – I rarely share real world “stuff” in the Blogosphere, but hope it improves for your soon.

Well done for being strong enough to take care of yourself when things are rough. Take all the time you need and keep looking after yourself, meaning- do whatever you feel you need to. On a lighter note, fantastic that the case is now going to be easier to make…

I think you are so awesome for doing these tutorials! They are fun, a great way for me to practice quilting without great expense, and so super easy. I hope that whatever it is in your life that is bringing you down will clear away like clouds on a summer day! You are always so bright and cheerful in your posts, I love your blog, and just know that you are appreciated.
