That’s what I am!
Funny saying isn’t it. Apparently it originates from the Punch and Judy puppet characters. That naughty Punch was always pleased with himself and his wicked deeds. Ok, so I’m not pleased in the particular manner Punch was. I’m more auspiciously pleased!
Why? Because I was lucky enough to win Trace at Bountifully’s Giveaway! The prize was this delightful peg apron:
And when I opened the beautifully wrapped package, I found that Trace had included some other goodies as well!
Isn’t she so very generous! I just LOVE all of it, and I am so grateful. {Look at that gorgeous vintage cotton reel!} I am not quite sure what the green crocheted piece is exactly for, but that won’t stop me from finding a way to beautify something with it!
And Trace…I found a little spot for something else you included…
It’s now adorning my little upcycled binding box.
Now this is the best part for you all… Trace has written a tutorial for her peg apron! If you’re loving the peg apron as much as me, go ahead and have a lil’ peek.
Thank you again Trace…I’m adding you to my NICE people list!

Wow, you got quite a package there. No wonder you’re pleased as punch
The green crocheted item looks like edging that could be used on towels, pillowcases or whatever. Just my guess.
Holy moley! That’s a heck of a windfall…I’d be pleased as punch, too!
The green crochet piece is pillowcase edging. I did one like that from a 1940’s crochet book.
Just wanted to let you know that Punch and Judy is still a tradtion in England, both as puppet shows and live-action. My DH occasionally plays Judy, in a long dress with mob cap and beard!
